Plot Summary:
With every passing generation one truth seems strangely invariable: People love pirates. We love the fighting, we love the fashion, we love the adventure, the lingo, the exotic locales, and, most of all, the fantasy of becoming pirates ourselves; that tantalizing prospect of shedding all moral, legal, and social obligations simply to bask in the freedom of the open seas. Thus the inspiration for this musical fantasia; this theatrical epic that would both encompass and explore, without mercy and without the trappings of traditional musical theatre structure, the concept of piracy, its mythology, its reality, and our culture's unabashed obsession.
